I'm a writer, photographer, and wine nerd. My beat covers wine and spirits, with a focus on history, travel, and tall tales.
I was born in Canada (eh), spent a good chunk of my life in Savannah Georgia (y'all), and finally ended up in Bed-Stuy.
I've got a black cat, a part-pug, and spend as much time as possible in nature.
I'm a food and beverage business contributor at Forbes.com. My work can be found in a range of print and online magazines, from Eater, Canada's 100 Best Restaurants, MAXIM, Wine Enthusiast, Foodism, Liquor.com, Toronto Life, Elle Canada, The Spruce, VinePair, DuJour, AskMen, CultureTrip and The Bourbon Review. I started my career as an editor at FLARE Magazine.
Before writing took over, I graduated from McMaster's Bachelor Arts and Engineering Program, and the Savannah College of Art and Design's Masters of Brand Management program. I wrote my Master's thesis on progressive innovation in the American wine marketing world.
I'm working on my WSET III.
